Postby HelixWhiza on Sat Oct 17, 2009 6:45 pm

Hey, we still have one more spot in our Borderlands pre-order 4 packs! So anyone interested in getting a copy for just $37 Australian? First to post who can get money to Helix or Hypercube by next Friday gets the spot!

So far the following people are in: HelixWhiza, Hypercube, Bloodlust, The Mighty Thesaurus, Lordofskulls, Aergo and Stormin Norman.

I'm pumped about getting it but I'm a bit nervous about placing a cash down pre-order on a digital secuROMed copy of the most hyped game this decade.

Will it be available physically later on?

EDIT: not to mention it'll be an 8 gig download on Australian Internet, unless I'm missing something in the deal text I'd probably rather pay the extra for a disc in hand.

I suppose this means I'll have to meet Finn sometime at Uni. You guys with free steam DLs will have to give me a backup because I don't have 8 gigs of internets free.

Maybe if you stopped torrenting Anime for 5 minutes you'd save that 8gig.

The fact that I am responsible for a large percentage of them is another matter entirely.

Standard speed areas have like 10-15 gig caps, I'm on the best plan my line can handle and its 15 a month + doesn't refill till post release.

I have 8 gigs free but I'm not going to use that all up on borderlands when I can just get it off one of my bros.

Yes, Borderlands should be available in stores on the same day as it is released on Steam. And I'm sure at worst people can get a backup at the first LAN party we have.
